Jumping Jakes Staff
All staff recive the following training / certification :
- DBS checked
- Trained in Paediatric first aid
- Trained to level 2 in food safety
- Trained in safeguarding / child protection.
- Receive in house training to ensure we remain Ofsted compliant.
Staff are also encouraged to attend on- going training in all areas of child care and frequently attend external training courses.
In addition our staff have undergone the following role specific training.
Laura - Scheme Owner
Laura is Level 3 qualified, is the level 2 safeguarding officer, first aider and main point of contact for the scheme
Sarah – Scheme Manager
Sarah is the scheme manager, she is level 3 qualified, safeguarding trained to level 2 standard, food safety trained, first aider and trained in ‘prevention of radicalisation and promoting British values’ Sarah is the face to face contact at the scheme, she has 6 years’ experience within the playwork setting .
Katy – Behavioural / SENCO Manager
Katy is our behavioural and senco manager at the scheme; she is level 3 trained, senco trained, safeguarding trained to level 2 standard, food safety trained and first aider and trained in ‘prevention of radicalisation and promoting British values’. Katy has 6 years’ experience within a playwork setting with 2 of them as a scheme manager.
Charlotte – Playwork Practitioner
Charlotte is a very experienced playworker, with over 7 years’ within the scheme, she is level 3 trained, safeguarding trained, food safety trained and first aider at the scheme. Charlotte has a great deal of experience with pre-school and EYFS aged children, bringing these skills with her to the before, after school and holiday club. Charlotte also takes on the role of a key worker for our younger children.
Sarah – Playwork Practitioner & Planning Administrator
Sarah is an exceptional playworker, with 2 years’ experience within the playwork environment, she is level 3 trained, safeguarding trained, food safety trained and first aider at the scheme. Sarah also has many years’ experience with pre-school and EYFS aged children, and planning for this age group, bringing these skills with her to the before, after school and holiday club. Sarah also has the role of key worker within the scheme.
Amanda – Playwork Practitioner & Business Administrator
Amanda is also an exceptional playworker, starting her role within the business over a year and a half ago, building up her experience and taking on an administration role on top of the role of a playworker, Amanda is currently undertaking a level 3 playwork apprenticeship Amanda is trained in business administration, safeguarding, food safety and is also a first aider at the scheme.
Jane – Playwork Practitioner
Jane is level 2 trained and is a fantastic addition to the playwork team, she has over 10 years’ experience within both a school and pre-school environment, and she is safeguarding, food safety and first aid trained along with also undertaking additional training in forest school activities.
